We had a great time at district champs. After some hard fought battles we finished quals matches ranked 14th out of 38 teams. We were selected as the first pick of Alliance 6 with 234 and 3176. We unfortunately got eliminated in round 2 of the playoffs, putting an end to our remarkable season.

We didn’t end the season in disappointment though, we ended up winning the Excellence in Engineering Award for the first time in our team’s history!

We also finished our season with the 10th highest EPA in the state of Indiana (could change).

Overall, this year was a very strong performance compared to previous seasons. We finished 16th out of 71 teams in the district rankings, which is a massive improvement compared to our 35th place finish in 2024.

This is a result of the hard work we put in this season AND the off-season. Despite this being our first competition season running swerve, we had ZERO drivetrain issues, which is insane. Despite also using path planner for the first time ever this year, we ended up with the 8th highest auto EPA in Indiana. Our smart approach to design strategy also allowed us to make a simple, yet effective robot. Even though we didn’t qualify for the FIRST Championship this year, this was a season of “firsts” for us (no pun intended).

Congrats to 7457, 868, 3487, and 1747 (four district champions???) for winning the District Championship. Congrats to 1741 for winning the Impact Award and congrats to 7657 for winning EI. Good look to all Indiana teams competing at Worlds! Go show everyone what us Hoosiers are all about!
